In the Song of Songs, the King describes our hearts to be like a garden (Song of Songs 4) enclosed with skin.
Just like in the natural a garden goes through cycles and needs maintenance, so does our hearts.
But sometimes, “little foxes” (Song of Songs 1:15) have invaded our heart-gardens and chaos ensues of weakened plants, diminished harvests, and seasons that seem to be stuck.
We need time with the Master Gardener to find restoration and freedom to thrive.
